I have been working at Prime Focus World (formerly Frantic Films) in Vancouver since the beginning of March, 2009 as a Rigging TD Contractor. I have been working on complex rigs for an upcoming feature film. Can’t say anything more than that!
Working along side such talented technical people as Jason Labbe, Chris Harvey, Laszlo Sebo, and Eric D. Legare, has been very inspiring. I think the final product of what we’re working on is going to look great!
Oh wow! you get to work with Eric D. Legare! He’s great! I follow his work on cgtalk, he’s crazy good. I hope you get to go into more detail with your work later on.
I am no longer at Prime Focus. My contract wrapped up back in July and I am back in Ontario working at PEN Productions once again :). (I guess I should make a post about that. Oops!) I was lucky enough to get a few good months in with Eric while I was out there though, and we still keep in touch. That guy is trouble! haha
Haha! You’re working with Paul Neale now?! His script work is amazing. He taught me more about rigging (through his set of dvds) than any college professor I’ve had, haha!
Sorry I didn’t know your work with Prime Focus was done. You should write more posts indeed. What I’ve read so far makes me wish you blogged more.
